How to adjust the flow of water pump

We need to adjust the flow of water pump sometimes when use it. Then, how to adjust the flow of water pump?

I. Variable speed adjustment

Change the characteristics of pump through changing the rotate speed of pump to adjust the flow of water pump, which is called variable speed adjustment. This method is inconvenient to operate, so it is rarely used.

II. Variable diameter adjustment

It is known that after water pass through the pump impeller, the performance of the pump will change according to a certain rule to change the flow, which is called variable diameter adjustment.

III. Variable angle adjustment

Changing the installation angle of blade will change the performance of pump performance to change the flow, which is called variable angle adjustment.

IV. Throttling adjustment

This method is mainly for the pump that install sluice valve on the pipeline. Firstly close the sluice valve for half hour, which add resistance on the pipeline and make the pipeline characteristic curve steep. The smaller the sluice valve is closed, the larger the resistance increase and the flow becomes smaller at the same time. This method is called throttling adjustment or variable valve adjustment.
